Fortunately, it is not painful enough for the heavy hitters, but thanks! Ibuprofen seems to work just fine.
I'm bummed you had to miss out on racing this weekend, but thanks for rockin' the cowbell during my run! Hope you heal up quick! Look forward to seeing you out there riding at the next one.
no rest for the injured.... So my coach said no time off. One arm weight training and riding the trainer with weight on my right arm only. Can't do 1 arm pushups though (I'm such a girl)! Thanks for all the well wishes, you STR peeps rock!!! Going Tuesday to the Doc to see if I can get them removed at 10 days! Here's hoping.
Tis but a flesh wound for our Nance! Remember guys dig scars? I think? No wait, it's big boo....oh, nevermind. I thought you were just doing your roadie impersonation when I seen you heading down. I did see blood on the ground, but didn't realize it was yours. Sorry girl, heal quickly!
Have you ever noticed when we all get together, we end up comparing biking wounds or crashes.... the good news is, you now have another story to tell.... the bad news is, you now have another story to tell. Keep this up grasshopper Nancy and we'll have to call you miss zipper!
Ouchy Nancy, Maybe we should call you George for a while.....#-o.... Paula BTW Happy Valentines Day. Heal fast can't wait to see that scar.
You now you're loved when you get at least three pages of posts. While I wish you a speedy recovery I have to say....that is gonna be one COOL scar!!!!
When I saw you in the first aid area, it seemed as if it were merely a scratch and a mild inconvenience to you. I'm not sure if you didn't actually see the wound or what, but it was nasty, and you were as calm as if you had a splinter. I hope it heals up well with no complications, after all, we have to start hitting the BMX track soon!
Ouch Denmother. I heard that a little (and I do mean a little) humor speeds up the healing process. I hope your checkups turn out better than this... A man needing a heart transplant is told by his doctor that the only heart available is that of a sheep. The man finally agrees and the doctor transplants the sheep heart into the man. A few days after the operation, the man comes in for a checkup. The doctor asks him "How are you feeling?" The man replies "Not BAAAAD!"
Holy crapola Nancy. I rarely go to the riders down forum and just saw this now. YOW!! I'm so sorry. That is just f'n gnarley!:bang: Bet it hurt. **ow** I hope it heals well and scars little! Can't wait to ride with you again! Heal up fast sister!
I'm free!! No more stiches!!! And I have no restrictions. Back on the real bike tomorrow, yipeeeeee!!!! Ok to race this weekend too.
