does anyone know if there are any type of adapters out to allow a 20mm thru axle to be used on a fork made to be used with a 15mm wheel? thanks
no. the 20mm axle is a 110mm wide hub, whereas the 15mm (along with standard 9mm QR hubs) are only 100mm wide. you need a 20mm fork to run a 20mm hub.
If you are saying 20mm hubs on 15mm fork? If so the only way it could work is if the hubs are convertible. Some can be converted.
Yeah Kind of cunfusing how its asked, I think that is what he means..... the 20mm hub of a 15mm fork, and if so, thats of coarse the answer The way its written, I see what your seeing, can you use a 20mm axle oin a fifteen mm form.... answer is no, width's are off, diameter is off.... Im with others, what fork do you want to use with what wheel???
in my experience with this just recently I ended up having to ditch my fork with the 9mm QR and buy another one. I put the older fork on eBay with no reserve! hopefully it sells enough so i can get another fork. I'm still looking for the right fork though. I need a fork that fits a 20mm hub and has 140mm of travel max. Any ideas?
thanks for your help. I ordered the Pike 426 Dual Air today! hopefully it comes by the end of the week.
Advice please. I have a 2010 Fox RL32 fork with a 15mm Mavic Crossride front wheel. Thinking of getting the 20mm axle Mavic Crossline wheel. Can this setup work?
Just need to check to see it the hub comes with adapters. My sun ringle is on a 20mm TA, but has adapter cups to run 15 or 9.
