    What rims was he using? I'm surprised they didn't deform or his wheel explode on that run. He was still catching some air.

    Devastated to see Bruni crash on that amazing run. He would have gotten first!

    Amazing the gap between 2nd 3rd and 4th, "one half a 26 inch wheel turn" ... a little excerpt if you don't/can't click the link:

    "look at the gaps between Macdonald, Minnaar and Brosnan! Just 25 hundreths of a second separated the three of them. To put this in context, at these speeds on a 2.49km track, that is roughly half a (26inch) wheel between 2nd and 4th place. Say what you like about this track but it made for tight racing! You've also got to wonder if Troy Brosnan will come to regret the 9 thousandths of a second (or about 11cms) between him and an extra 20 points in the overall come the end of the season…"

    It's ben too long since the last WC. Gwin's rim run seems like ages ago. Looking forward to it. I hope it's as exciting as Ft. Bill. Rooting for Gwin, but also Stevie, Greg, Mick, Peaty - whatever! It's a long, rough course. Let's see what happens!

    Cool to see Ratboy quali up top and Brosnan 2nd, both on new 275 bikes (I think). Manon 1st and Rachel 3rd for the gals.

    Gee got 12th with torn tendons in his wrist from yesterday's crash (that's just crazy). Bruni 18th after a crash during the quali run. Bulldog flatted but is protected. Sam Dale had a crash but finished the run and is also protected. Should be a good one tomorrow, 11:15AM on Redbull I think, maybe 11:45? :bang: I gotta watch it on delay later so won't be looking here for spoilers :)

    I've been very careful about spoilers for 24 hours. Should be a great race. Go Gwin Go! My money's on Minnaar or Ratboy however.

    Wow! Another awesome race, and super exciting to watch. That was the roughest track of the season for sure. I can't imagine how tough it looks in person. Like previous races, you see the guy come down with a great time with about 10 riders to go thinking - he's got this - then the big names show you why they are the big names. And props to the guys riding with destroyed hands - amazing courage and grit.

    Congratulations to the winner. Here's a hint: He was on a 650b!
