2014 Fantasy dh worldcup!

Its a new season and the two top contenders are out for at least the 1st race. This will make early team selections interesting! I wonder if Gee and Stevie will be the top dogs again this year, once there pre season injuries heal that is. Or will gwin be able to mount a come back and regain the fans he lost after last years dismal season.

 

I'm in again! Team milliontown learned from last year (read, not going with gwin) and is hoping to excel this time!

They are only giving us 4 days to sign up so don't delay. We had more people join in 2013, than we had in 2012 so let's keep that trend going.

You get 1 million pounds to build you team. You must select 4 male riders and 1 female rider. You are limited to 2 team changes for every race. Once you've chosen your riders, feel free to post your team here!

Had to pick Gee cause he's such a bad ass (ex. http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/10774735/). Rach is always a safe choice, but don't think she's untouchable, with Manon Carpenter, Emmeline Ragot, and Tracey Hannah in the game. It would be a gamble to pick the others, due to inconsistency, but was tempted considering I didn't have enough budget to pick who I wanted for the other 3 really (Danny Hart and Mick Hannah + Tracey instead of Gee and Rach was an option). I thought I'd go with Bernard Kerr cause he throws some style and Adam Brayton for his gas2flat vids, but I just filled up with guys I thought were fast and under-rated, with Mitch being an easy pick among possible choices.

 

Spend my remaining 375k. I haven't heard of most of the lower cost guys

 

KccoShredders, I guess I need to be added to the mini league. Was this always the case?

 

You have to join it by putting in the league name and password. after that I think the admin has to approve it.
