For those of you with iPhones, i hear there is a hidden weight scale app.

To access it, you only need to place the screen face down on a solid floor surface. Carpet will cushion the scale and will not meter correctly. Then you just have to stand on it on one foot. Carefull with your balance, it will average out any rocking motion, don't worry about that. You must also wear shoes because the app is calibrated for the additional weight. Once you hear the "crack" sound, the meter has calculated your weight. Just turn your iPhone over and witness the high accuracy of this app.

And, thnx Dino for coming back to us & setting this up. Awesome! My new schedule, i hope i get to ride with some of you.

I'll be in, if just for the motivation and camaraderie. I'll be taking a trip to NYC in the middle of the challenge which, I know, will set me back. I'm just not sure if I'll be adding to the pool yet.

    Bring it!!!!

So about this time of each annual STR WLC, normally starts talk of all the "last suppers" people are going to consume before the challenge starts to boost their starting weight. Which to be honest, is usually a trigger for me. But I'm taking a different approach this year! I started back ontrack last Sunday with a weekly prep of my food. Only make 4 days at a time though and have to work Friday this week so usually it's really easy to use the hecticness and craziness of the week as an excuse to slack off food-wise and that starts a snowball effect/precedent for the weekend, especially with all the pre-challenge junk food and binging that might be showcased in this thread this weekend. But not today! I pushed through the week and made a kick ass dinner tonight (which will also be lunch tomorrow) and breakfast. So to those of you who are going to be binging on junk food like crazy this weekend to boost your starting weight, enjoy it. Next week is gonna SUCK for you! hehehehehe By then I will be feelin pretty good and be in the swing of things. BRING IT!

I LOVE Quinoa, even bought Quinoa flakes from Whole Foods to add to my hemp seed oatmeal in the morning. I haven't been riding in the dirt at all for about 6 weeks since I returned to work from my back injury. I do however hit the gym at work and do light weight/high rep workouts to the point of a good sweat and decent heart rate 4 days a week. I will be in for bragging rights (and motivation) since I am about 262 right now, size 40 waist. My goals are to drink less beer, eat smaller meals more frequently and get down to a size 36 waist by the time the ocean warms up to 66 degrees, late June, early July.
Nice meals Tara! I'll post food pics next month. Good luck and good health to all!
