Steve C lost a whopping 63.9 pounds 60 days!!!

This is just awesome!!! Thanks to dino and Jeff for making this happen again this year and to all the folks that donated so many great prizes, your generosity was awesome. Also thanks to all the participants who made it so much fun and challenging.

I have done this challenge 3 years in a row now and the second place spot was where i always ended up.....feels good to be in the top spot Steve sure was killing it and held me off all the way till the end , he's such a cool dood and a great friend.

I gained lot of weight back from the last challenge due to alot of different reasons, one was just the issue of me not having my kids. But i fought for them and now have custody there is no way i could ever do this without all of them, Julia,stephanie ,ginny and Logan. And i can't forget and never will Elvia she really knows how to keep me honest and on track...her and our kids are everything to me.

This time around im all in.......i have plans for me and my bikes. I am so thankful for STR and all the friends here ...one of the best things i ever did was log on here years ago. Now i will keep the weight off and keep losing. I have also decided to give back and help a young man by the name of Cameron im sure most of you have met or heard of him, he's a great kid . Also im training to do my first century in the bike MS ride in Oct and the tour de big bear in Aug. Once again thanks to all

First off, congrats to the winners, but really all of you are winners.
Congrats for being out there and riding.
Some of you may not have lost the weight you wanted to, but I know you all gained health.
Hearts, lungs, and minds are all pretty important.

The first ride my son and I took with STR was a WLC ride, a couple of years ago.
Thanks for the inspiration.

 

Congrats to Stu and Steve for the amazing transformation. Congrats to everyone else who participated and saw results. It is not easy especially living growing up with junkfood and such. I wish everyone a healthy and fit life!

Racer X you rock bro... FYI, After I did my final weigh in I went to in n out, had a double double, then followed it up with cold stones XL... I think I gained 2 pounds at least... so with that I'm in your shadow! YOU WIN! Starbucks or a mexican coke on me topped with Skittles!

Congrats to you all. And even though I was not involved, ya gotta thank those the made the challenge possible. These are the very reasons I am happy to be a member of STR.

Congratulations to all who lost weight, especially the winners. Keep it up and stay healthy!

A week long family trip brought me up a bit, but I did better than last time. I wasn't nearly as disciplined as a lot of the participants.

 

I knew this was going to be a close race between SteveC and Stu (great work guys), but I have to also say what a sneaky bas*ard Armen was in pulling out third place, NICE JOB! Anyone and everyone who put the effort in is a winner, and even if you thought about in, and quite didn't end up where you wanted to, you still won. Having the desire to get healthy is one thing, having the TIME is another, life gets in the way with the day-to-day BS, but remember to make the time for yourself. You can't make others happy if you're not.

 

Dino and Jeff you two are awesome for putting this together. I've seen the difference its made in Stuarts life he is know even riding in lycra.

Congrats to whoever won the Go Pro and thanks to La HabraCyclery for helping with this prize.

 

Julie's cookies were all the motivation I needed!
