Some info is up on Cycledirt.org and Velovert.com. I'm a bit underwhelmed by some of the colorways, but hopefully the US color-shemes are a bit better. According to our Specialized rep, there should be two graphics set-ups per model...one mild and one wild. We'll see what the final production brings us. Enjoy. 2011 S-Works Stumpjumper 29 SS Carbon Frameset 2011 S-Works Epic 29 Carbon and 2011 S-Works Stumpjumper HT 26 Carbon Info on the rest of the line isn't up on Cycledirt, yet, but I found it on a French site (Velovert.com). The new SX trail looks sick. I'd personally put a totem on it, but for the price, its a really great bike.
Sheesh, I have a hard time trying to name the specialized bikes on the trails already... now there's more?!? Thanks!
The S-Works Stumpjumper HT 26 is 17.85 lb with tubes. I think we'll see some sub 17 lb builds out there. For a little bit of perspective...that's about the same weight as some of our Tarmac Expert road bikes. The FSR XC is no more. It's replaced by a totally different bike at 120 mm of travel.
Geared. :bang: That's for the 26er version. The S-Works 29er HT should be sub-18 lb if built right. I'm hoping sub-17 for the 29er SS. I think that would pretty much be considered cheating.
Nice looking stuff. I would love the carbon Epic 29 for my trail bike and the carbon HT 29er for events like 12 hours and QV. Good stuff Spec!
I read today that the Epic S-Works 29er is 21.5lbs! I can only think the 26er version must be very little over 20lbs?! Amazing.
I saw this on bikeradar. Specialized Enduro Evo Specialized's final clutch of new bikes is the Evo line. These are pumped-up versions of other bikes in the range – there's an Enduro Evo with a Fox DHX coil shock, a Stumpjumper FSR Evo with 150mm travel front and rear, a chain guide, wider bars and bigger tyres, and even an Epic Evo with a 120mm fork. As if that wasn't enough, there are less-is-more race-oriented Evo R variants of the Epic and Stumpjumper HT, with 1x10 drivetrains and custom chainguides. http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/specialized-2011-mountain-bike-epic-camber-and-more-26771
They used EVO... way to break the mould... Bikes look sick though! too bad i'm not a huge specialized fan.
