Penner has actually looked pretty good since his injury. He figured out how to skate again, and he has actually been hustling for the puck.

yup, they looked pretty darn good! quick now leads the league in shut outs, and that was the first time they've beaten the blackhawks in their last 7 meetings!

It's so quiet in here. Maybe now that the ducks are playing better, the Duck lovers will come back and talk trash again...that will be fun like it always is.

i don't think i've missed watching one kings game this season!

sutter has kick started this team back into contention and i'm loving it! im sure we would all prefer regulation wins v.s. overtime and shootout wins, but hey, OT is still a point! did you know the kings are tied for first in the league (with florida panthers) for overtimes....10!!!

me and my g/f are going to head down tomorrow night and watch them play the avalanche. anyone else going?

I think the malware warnings have tempered a lot of posting, at least it has for me. Like Guero, I've watched or attended all the Kings games. The Ducks appeared to right the ship and are finally playing up to expectations. How about that freak Hall injury. Now that is a serious cut!

I bet it won't be long until most teams, if not all, will follow the NY Rangers lead and require helmets in warmups. Just gnarly:

They played a great game last night. Got lucky with the bad call for the penalty shot, but it didn't really matter anyway. I think Lewis is making a case to be in the shootouts on a regular basis.

It looks like the Kings have Jack Johnson and Johnathan Bernier on the trade block. They are trying to get someone who can score, possibly Rick Nash. The Ducks also have Bobby Ryan on the block looking for some defense

lots of talk about rick nash. i wouldn't mind that. i wonder if quick wants out? if it wasn't for him, this team would be in the basement! he has no doubt been the backbone of this team. all of our top paid players are under performing, heads need to roll.

i saw penner at my rink that i play ice hockey at last night, i guess his nephew or something was playing in the tournament that was going on.

Wow...another 1-0 loss to teams right behind them in the standings. I think Lombardi really needs to make some moves or he might not have a job next year.

Brett, you should have kicked Penner in the nuts! He came back strong after his injury and now he is just standing around again. I think he is going to get put on waivers pretty soon.

Man is it painful to watch the Kings these past two games (and most of the season for that matter). I don't know how many more periods I can watch without them scoring. Just not much to get excited for. How much longer will Quick continue to compete for them? I'm a Kings fan until the end, just a bit frustrated at them moment. Here's to hoping the Kings will get better.

    good looking out cappy.

regarding the kings, this is the 10th game that j. quick has only given up one goal, yet still ended up with a loss. so far, richards has been a bust, penner, lol, penner, lol, gagne, how many games did he even play? another waste of space. good thing that they signed doughty for that huge contract, because he certainly has been earning every cent.........NOT! brown, take that C off his jersey and get him out! our first lines production is basically the equivalent of every other teams 3rd line.

like makoto said, painful, frustrating, and i'll add, flat our embarrassing to watch at times. im a fan to the end as well.

btw, did you see they have the audacity to raise season ticket prices next season?!?!?!?! everyone on letsgokings.com is pretty irate about it, as they should be!
