I remember a few years ago saying "why are they calling up this Quick kid" and now it's "why arn't they playing Quick". Nice to finally have a great goaltender and a great back up.
I was at the game last night and the Kings looked great! In years past they would play good in stretches only to have a mental or physical lapse. This did not happen last night. There was also great energy from the fans last night. It almost felt like a playoff game. Go Kings Go!!!

great game last night, kings win in the 7th round of a shootout!!! hiller was solid for the ducks, he was bombarded during the first and second period. tonights game should be on fire, see ya there!!!

Ok...so you know how I was saying I was going to wear my Robitaille shirt last night? Well I did and Lucky Luc Robitaille was sitting in a suite behind me the whole game! Literally 3 rows away! Unfortunately I didn't know this until there was 5 minutes left in the game. I tried to meet him but he got out of there pretty fast.

Too bad. From what I've seen at the Toyota Center he's very approachable. Always talking with parents, kids & players. I think it also goes with his job, but he always seems sincere and enthusiastic to chat it up. (this coming from the guy who still gets a bit star struck every time I see a player/coach at the rink.)
