My rant is officially over. I just read Ryan will be suspended for two games.

Yep, two games for Ryan. I had not seen the stomp until I read the article on the suspension and watched the replay - I have to say, I agree with the suspension. There is no place for that in hockey. For sure this will put the Ducks top line in a tough position heading into Nashville, but I can't defend his actions.

You called that! Those announcers are the WORST. I could not believe that they had the gall to complain that Rinne was taking liberties with his stick on Perry when the replay cleary showed Rinne simply lifting Perry's stick then Perry turns around a rams his stick up up Rinne's groin! They are seriously hard to watch. Perry is a petty cheap player.

Great game for the KINGS shutting out the Sharks and dominating. Let' ride the momentum at home Tuesday!

I'm not saying all their fans do this but, Ducks fans complain about bad calls more than any other fans. I've been to games and i have seen people with shirts saying "ref you suck" and they chant it quite a bit. Suck it up, there will always be bad calls, and every team gets them.

True. But I would still rather go to a Ducks game over the Kings. Just sayin...

I am a hockey fan and the Ducks are my home team to I am pulling for them. I have been to hockey arena's all over the US and Canada and it's the same. Saying Ducks fans in general don't know hockey is ignorant.

CPATCRASH- No offense meant. The banter on the thread is all in good fun. I learned that a while back when I got bent at a King's fan who converted to a Duck's and was bagging on the King's. Good luck to all the Socal teams!

I am a Canadiens fan, but when they're not playing, I am pulling for the Ducks. It's all CPATCRASH's fault...

No offense taken. I just get tired of people assuming Ducks fans know nothing about hockey. My ex knew more about hockey than anybody she ever talked to it about!

No lets go Ducks! Just get the ball in the net and push hard in the 5th quarter!

I'm a Ducks fan, but used to be a Seals fan growing up in Oakland. Still have some of those pucks. Should I be rooting for the Stars now? (I'll wait while you google that)
I also realize that without McNall nabbing Wayne, OC would probably have never had a franchise.

Now, can we get that extra point on the TD?

did you move to texas from minnesota? im not quite following your "i'll wait while i google that" comment regarding the stars. i know the california seals were from oakland in the 70's, then eventually left town. long beach used to have a team way back in the day as well, not nhl status, i believe they were the long beach sharks. the ice dogs games were fun (when they were in the IHL), but with each passing year, they eventually moved down leagues it seemed, then a couple years ago they folded. :(

big game tonight, go kings go!

**i just looked it up and saw that after the seals moved to cleveland, then they eventually merged with minnesota. sorry if my memory didnt serve me well, i was 5 or 6 years old at the time they merged. and thanks for waiting, :)

My guess is since the Stars came by way of the Minnesota North Stars...that perhaps they came by way of the Oakland Seals???

GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! FFFFFFFFFFF the KINGS!!!!! LOL

And I call BS on DUCKS fans complaining more about calls than fans from other teams - any fan cheering for their team is going to think they got hosed on calls when their team comes out on the losing end of a game or has a big disparity in penalties against. Same can be said for the NBA / NFL, etc. Look at all the coaches getting fined int he NBA for calling out the refs on the huge free throw disparities.... I think the other night a coach complained about his team only going to the line once in the 4th quarter when the opposing team got 19 foul shots. Think he does not know the game or is just ranting about stats? Hard to compete against a team getting a chance at free points.
