I wish they were hot in the OC...apparently only when you steal them out of someone's car....we have actually had these frames for the last 8 months and that is why we are blowing them out at cost! We have had one as a demo bike for the last year and everyone loves it....but seems people are afraid of the fact that this bike isn't real popular here in the U.S.....it's very popular in Germany!

I have to throw in my 2 cents here.... I've been riding an Edison LTD for 3 1/2 years, over 7000 miles, and it just had it's first fork service in December. It's been extremely reliable, with pretty basic maintenance needs. I understand the resistance to a "new" brand, but they're not going away, given their huge success in Europe and the reviews they constantly get here...The Golden Willow was just included in MBA's "Miles of Smiles" article (the ten most fun bikes we've ridden), and MBUK called the adjustable travel/geometry system the "holy grail" of mountain biking.

You can look at some of my rides and you'll know how capable a bike it is.... both climbing and descending.

Posthole works for Bionicon and posts here occasionally, anyone can ask me or him if you have any questions about the bikes. That price is a bargain!

    Sweet drop!

It sounds like Bionicon is like many other bikes, such as Orange, who are widely known and respected everywhere around the world but here. Just the same, there are many popular brands in other parts of the country that simply aren't known here. In contrast, in other parts of the country, Intense, Ellsworth, and Turner are as rare as a covered wagon.
