Is it open to all rides or only vintage bikes?

A vintage bike is not required. Just come out and ride.

Was on the garage wall for about 8 years, but the '88 Stumpy's resurrection is almost complete! No longer stock, unfortunately, but gotta say that NukeProof rear hub is still lookin' pretty sweet :bang:

Now, if my AT2 LF's just don't catastrophically fail at the first bump, I'll consider the ride a success! See you all Saturday.

Oh, and an FYI--the RSVP function works if you open the event through the Calendar tab. Might be an easier way to keep track of the group, might not.

I managed to get a Marzocchi 1" threaded fork, original King HS, and Cook Bros crankset for my Klein. Hopefully it'll be ready by Saturday!

    That's a great find.

Another option for those with older frames with 1" headtubes is to find an older 1" Judy crown steerer (the ones with pinch bolts that hold the stanchions) and then carefully cut any SID from it's crown and install it into the Judy steerer (the stanchions are the same distance apart - the only old/new combo you can do this with).

    Two things --

#1 The RSVP function is working now - so check the calendar and RSVP but you can't post any replies there..so do that here.

#2 Look out because Gene has been practicing for the Race of Truth and is wicked-fast on the circus bike..:bang:

JRD - I’ll be riding my future oldie but goodie,

Hey XHUSKR I’ll bring some of my latest brewed Stout for you. It’s only been in the bottle for a week but should be fine to drink…

Anyone need a ride, I'll be driving into Fullerton from Dana Point..

if people are looking for rides, I'm in the irvine area and could pick someone up. I'm near jeffery/alton, if i can help.

i might get the "most broken down" award- i havent been able to do any work on the beast of the east. this might be fun to watch.

I wish I still had my deep pine tree green Schwinn Cimarron 18 speed from 1985 or 6 with factory Shimano BioPace Elliptical gears up front. It was top of the line Schwinn back then with double butted all aluminum frame... Just over $600... that was a lot of money for me back then, I was only taking home $450 gross a week.
