    I will never fault you or any family guy/gal for doing things w/ the family over riding :) so it's all good brotha.

    As for the next lovefest...I'm thinking.:beer:

    BTW, I'm really liking this 29'er thing I dont know if it's a mental thing or what but i'm doing things I didnt on the 26'er especially on the climbs hmmm

    It's still covered in ice and snow up to around the middle control road. It's actually not too bad beyond that. After it clears up a bit, I'll let you know.

    Thanks for an awsome ride everybody :bang: I had a great time....felt good on the bike.....and really enjoyed the new trails. Well worth the trip up from San Diego area.
    Beautiful trails, weather, people.....what more can a guy ask for :?:

    I am looking forward to the next......and any other rides I can hook up with you guys.

    Have to agree with everyone, this was a damn fun ride. It was great to finally put a face to so many STR names that I've seen for so long. John was an absolutely phenomenal guide; seemed like he knew the place inside & out.

    So glad we joined the "wet" group as we headed back to the cars. Those last couple of miles with the stream crossings were the best part of the entire ride--and that's saying a lot.

    However, I have to admit that it wasn't so much a SS lovefest as it was a "bring the gearie and watch the 6-7 SSers go up the hills". Either way, was a blast and cannot wait to do it again with 1x1Clyde in March.

    I attached the few pics I snapped when I wasn't getting in people's way on the downhills. I wholeheartedly apologize to anyone that was unlucky enough to be behind me on any of the descents. Like I told Justin, "You don't want to be behind me going downhill any more than I want to be behind you going uphill."

    eric it was a SS lovefest not an eharmony love ride ;) bhahaha although that would be cool if one of these rides resulted in our members meeting and falling for each other...that'd be cool
