I want to run my 135 spaced Pimplite wheels in a 142row spaced frame. Can I do this without buying a new hub? Atomlab does not offer an adapter. Is there a universal one?

short answer: No. both the axle and the spacers on the hub need to be longer. you cant just make up the difference with washers.

better to cut your losses and buy a new hub.preferably one that can be convrted easily in the future
