So I finally upgraded to safer bike to go downhill riding.
I got it at The Path last friday. Here is a video showing my bike with my first ride on it. I have yet to take it to a real DH trail.

Kinda bums me out that someone took a pick to the berms on 5-Oaks. Solid riding BTW - looks like you had a traffic jam on Rock-It.

It's probably the track you picked. Can't see it, maybe others can.

Use vimeo instead of youtube to upload video's. They are more lenient when it comes to music. Nice bike!

I rode it today. Three of the better berms up top had been hacked up - after the initial two drops. You can see one of them clearly in the video - 2:18.

That has to be the best pov vid i have seen in years, burned out on them years ago from mtnbikebill and even more so with the all the recent gopro crapola people are putting out now days. You kept the camera perfect and pointed down the trail, not looking around or looking down. Great job.

bad ass, bike looks like it soaks up all the ruts and dips of rock-it along with 5 oaks. Black and red combo looks sweet too.

Chris, I rode 5 oaks in the am on easter sunday. A ranger was in the middle of picking at the first big berm when I was up top, not sure what he was doing... I was hoping he was loosening it up, to come back later to smooth it out and pack it down? At that time it was hard to tell what end result he was going for. Apparently its still torn up? When I went down the trail, he was standing right in the middle of the drop between the two bushes. Odd that he would pick Easter Sunday to do trailwork on a popular trail. So did he just remove the berms? Hopefully its a work in progress and theyll get built back up after the predicted rain, while the dirt is damp. But im not optimistic.
