    Frame wise. Light and snappy, I'd get a the new Specialized SJ 29er HT (nice split shell EBB). Or a Salsa Selma.

    I have a Kona Unit 2-9. I really like the bike a lot as the steel frame has a very nice ride. The flex allows me to ride all day, but everyone that rides behind me says it looks like I am going to twist the rear triangle into a pretzel. I have also have had some driveline failures due to flex. I do know several other "smaller" riders that have not experienced the same issues I have.
