Ok you guys are right....I bought them and no I won't use them. Bought it on a whim and don't ever see myself racing and all.

Got these off Dan White as some of you already know about a month ago. These are the older Zipp 303 tubular wheels.

He said his sun race them 3-4 times and never rode them again. Finally got a chance to take it to the shop to make sure they are in near new shape as promise.....well they are not.

Got some dimples on the carbon rims right above the spoke....the shop guy said they could be from stress from the spoke and some of the brake surface seemed scratched. He said it is still good to ride but not like new. I asked Dan about the dimples and he said he got them like that.....so not sure who I should believe. I'm very bummed about it but oh well.

But either way it is safe to ride them but I won't be riding them. So my lost your gain.

I'm asking $500 with Campy Chorus cassette(that is like new 150 value) and 2 tubular tires so it is still a great deal but it is a as is sale since I'm not an expert on these things.
