Well, it’s pretty much all been said at this point: great trip, mostly stellar weather, gracious hospitality from Team Sanchez, crappy food, awesome terrain, many laughs, horrid drive home. And I don’t have any pics to share since my camera got stolen the night we returned. So, I’ll just contribute a list of random happenings, things said, things seen, things learned, etc. during our four days in Utahrrrrr ....

    Coach Joe Paterno
    Chocolate Rain on Gooseberry
“My nickname is not ‘A-Hole.’ Stop calling me that!”
Assault on St. George’s air quality
“Why is Michael Stipe driving Joe's truck?”
    Nick the Dick
The quietest sports bar in the history of sports bars
    “It’s just a little climbing.”
Petrified of heights but will launch onto a boulder, at speed, a few feet from the mesa’s edge ... then go back and do it again
    “No no no no no!!!!!!”
    Dig It :bang:
That’s not sweat on the front of his shorts?
    A bromance is born
    Anything is rollable
    Powder
Slappy (w) vs. JoeT (l) in the smacktalk wars
    “I want some strange.”
    Lupita’s delicacy: the vegan burrito
    “You gonna do the Teabag?”
    Bovine-phobia
    Anything is climbable
    “Shut the f-ck up, Joe!”

Sorry to hear about your camera Toby.
Was it taken from your house?

Thanks, man. Left the camera in the front seat of my unlocked car overnight. Stupid on my part. Good thing we just got a fat tax return.

How's the foot feeling? Hope you're able to ride again soon.

Toby...that's great man. How bad was the drive home? Tim and I had a relatively easy one.

Coming back after Mesquite I don't like that ride either...boring. To break it up I like to stop at the Cowboy Trails in Las Vegas for a 1-2 hour spin helps break the ride up.

Even though we split up after Hurricane, we saw one another at state line. I bet they returned about the same time as we did and we got back just shy of 9. I think we left around noon our time. Traffic sucked, as I suspected it would. Next time, I'm going by my instincts and leaving early like you all did or staying until Monday morning. That was just stupid.

After stopping for lunch in St. George, it took us about 8 hours. #-o We'll plan better next time, for sure.

I didn´t think the trip home would take so long either. Espescially with our advantage of having a special methane-propelled truck at our disposal #-o.
