I have no idea what trail you are talking about. But it's in great shape. Last time I rode down it on my rigid bike, I had to stop to let some horses pass me going up.

I guess what I'm saying is be careful. There are a-holes riding slow on that trail.

yea but it would really suck to have someone find out whats up there and tear it down because they saw something on this site or another. i know theres some trails that dont get mentioned because they have been torn down at least 4 times since ive heard of them and thats in about 2 years

The guy who owns the property on which the easternmost trail sits is a horseman who seems to grudgingly tolerate bicycles, though he adamantly opposes the construction that goes on up there. He also doesn't really know the difference between the riders who are up there jumping and those who just roll through. My pals and I got a long lecture one day about all the construction ... and we were on hardtails and SS.

He lives somewhere at the bottom.

FYI, Roger saw the ranger last Sunday and she told him to stay off the trail that we hike up to get to the trailhead as it is not a "legal" trail. She instructed Roger to stay on the fireroad!!!! ;)

Yes, haven't you ever noticed the trailhead sign at the gate? Roger said the private property starts after you pass the tower (you know, the one that tried to eat you for lunch).

I got that lecture once too...the (female, kinda hot) Ranger watched us push up that last little trail and when we got to the top told us never, ever to do it again!

I should have mentioned that I had been a really, really bad boy and that I really deserved a spanking!

She was actually nice and polite and kind and just said that the trail isn't legal to go up, and she was just doing her job by telling us.
