My 2008 Kona Kapu is wasted. Don't really have memory of the crash, but do have 2 broken fingers, bunch of stitches in the knee, and road rash. I loved the geometry, would like to find something similar.

    Any suggestions?

Man, that is a bummer to loose a bike you love. Maybe try contacting Kona and see if you can get a discount frame as a crash replacement? From the looks of the frame it seems you are lucky to only have broken fingers (although those do suck, I've been there). Heal up soon.

Wow looking at the pictures are you sure you weren't hit. That's a lot of damage to a bike for a crash unless you had a lot of speed and ran into a wall.

Wow, glad you're ok. Heal up quickly. What size was your frame? I have the 2009 Kapu (yellow). In the next couple of months I'll be in the market for a carbon or Ti frame. Mine is a 56...I think. Not sure if you can wait that long...

New bikes are fun, i am enjoying looking around at the options. Salsa Travel Vaya is the front runner at the moment, but we shall see.

I have no clue what happened. I heard a car, looked back, looked forward and then was on the ground with somebody standing over me calling the police. Best theory right now is I put the bike in a culvert somehow.
