    HI Mike,
Dan McGehee will be going after the 100-mile world track record on Saturday, May 24 8 a.m. to noon at the ADT velodrome in Carson, CA. McGehee is one of our strongest riders. He's ridden 100-miles on the road in 3:56:03. The indoor track record is is 3:47:5, set by Rod Evans in 1994. Indoor track records are ususally faster - excellent riding surface and no wind - so Dan has a good shot at taking the world record. It's a great chance for cyclists to watch a superb athlete in action. I'd appreciate it if you could help us get the word out via your website and e-mail list. Cheers John Hughes Managing Director UltraMarathon Cycling Association PO Box 18028 Boulder, CO 80308 [email protected] www.ultracycling.com
