Universal Sports got dropped this month from my Direct TV coverage. Bummed. I think I watched more on Universal Sports than all other channels combined.
Fuel HD is a cool channel but not too much mountain biking on it that I have seen so far. A lot of surfing stuff. Verses was showing the Red BUll Rampage not too long ago in HD, but Direct Tv has dropped that channel too.
Yep, evidently they never planned to carry after the trail period. also heard they dropped it as Comcast expressed interest in buying it from NBC. I am considering dropping DTV and going for ATT Uverse. Anyone have Uverse? Effin sux in the meantime.
I have heard it is not too good...make them install Cat5 cable and not use the electrical system in the house to transmit data to the slave recievers. Also need to ensure you get enough data bandwidth for everything yo will be doing. They advertise you can record 4 channels at once...2 HD and 2 SD. If you are recording even 2 HD channels, downloading something on the computer and talking on the phone...they all use the same data line, your picture may start degrading. That is what I have read anyways. Her is an older thread by about 6 months http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1128391&highlight=uverse A lot of good info on this website...just search around a bit and I think you will find your answer.
Depends on where you live. SOme areas will not get all of the digital channels. Try this website and enter your zip code information. (It will ask for all your address info, but all you have to do is do enter your zip code and find your location on the map) It will tell you the type of antenna needed to recieve the channels you want. http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/welcome.aspx
