"After I got the first proto to Wes he drove over to Woodland Park, CO (where I lived) and joined our local Team Telecycle Thursday night group ride, see www.teamtelecycle.com. "

Grew up in Woodland Park, Team "tricycle" was where i'd always have to buy parts that i broke.

I replaced a 26" rear for 29" with a 45c cross tire just bearly fits, but then I ride it fixed breakless.

So you like that 14" high BB and totally blown out trail dimension? ...what am I saying, if you think riding those hardpack paths fixed & brakeless is great you probably think that bike handles great too.

Eh. Just goes to show, you can ride anything if you force yourself to get used to it.

I think the 29er hate goes back to people simply being jealous of what they don't have. If I just spent 3k on my new full suspension 26er that weights 24 lbs I'm gonna be mad when my best friend comes over with his brand new 26 lbs 29'er telling me its better and newer. @(*#U I just invest my month's salary in a 26er.

Just like when you see a green Lamborghini on PCH and think "what a d-bag", then you wish to win the lottery so you too could afford a Lamborghini.
