Show up early and do a couple of hike-a-bike runs before the shuttle starts!!! That way you can check out the course before the masses get there.

welcome to STR nancy, glad to see you made it here.

allison, if you're riding the enduro, just do what i do and climb to the top! its an easy road climb up and if you cut to the left of the water tank you can ride it all the way up with no hike a bike.

How does it sound to everybody if we meet under the Incycle tent between 11 and 11:30 on Sat., that way we can put names with faces. I think that would be a good time since it is between xc and Super D racing, and all the shuttle monkeys can take a break.

Looks like I may show up late in the day. Going to go do some desert moto riding in the morning for a while.

Hmm...would anyone mind if I play with the 450X on the course? It would be more difficult in some areas, though. So that's how my truck will be easily identified; I should have a Honda CRF450X near the back (I'll have to unload it to get my bike out), and a CRF100 on the front of the truck.

I still need to decide if I'll have enough leg strength to do SS on Saturday. I'd love to, but would hate to be shoo'd off the course for taking so long...

Also, do you have to be there early to pay for DH practice, or can you do that at any time? Just curious. If I decide the SS is a no-go (it is rigid, afterall), I may want to get in a quick road ride in the a.m.

    Thanks!

no need to pay for practice, just do a few runs if you don't like it then just hang out to watch the races. its good fun and constant action. i'm not sure if i'm racing, if i'm not i'll be the guy with the loud ass air horn in one hand and the beer in the other
