::whiney voice:: But I want an STR JERSEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Even *I* have standards...

It's not like having ONE color option is going to lead to a pink revolt. I mean, seriously...

Most chicks don't even like pink!

    NTTAWWT.

I like pink on my bikes...

While I agree, I simply refuse to wear them anymore. It never failed that I'd suit up and be ready to ride and always always!, without fail, I'd have to poop. Off came the helmet and the jersey on the way to the restroom. Doesn't happen when I wear regular shorts. Sorry for the t.m.i.

Anyways..... please make the jerseys as flashy as sin with lots of graphics. Thanks.

meh, something about seeing an STR jersey on a roadie makes me cringe. dont get me wrong im about 80%/20% right now (more road). maybe, just maybe have it say "socaltrailriders.org/forum/roadie-hangout" lol, makes some sense right?

I guarantee you'll see way more STR jerseys on mountain bikers than roadies either way...

I'd wear a red XC jersey offroad as well.

I'm open to considering a different design for the next batch of jerseys but not too crazy about having a roadie specific jersey made. An STR roadie jersey just wouldn't seem right.

    Guess that's understandable...

I'd be down for another set of jerseys to vote on with the STR logo.

Either way, am I the only mountain biker that is diggin the RED?? Come on peeps!

That or you guys can go with lime green to match my Demo 7 :bang:

I really don't see what the big deal is about. What is this bullshit phobia about roadies? Almost all of us here do both. Get over it.

It seems like a simple numbers game, if enough people would buy the jersey then make it. It gets the name out there, it shows support for the community. I don't know many of you from Adam. The jersey is a way of identifying other STR riders out on the road.

I personally hate wearing cycling jerseys while riding off road. Nothing wrong with any tech shirt for me on MTB but when riding road a tight fitting jersey with three rear pockets is idea.

The current xc jerseys are Hot Shoppe's "roadie - mtb" style and do have the three pockets, long zipper in front, and the lighter material. I'm sure we can come up with a design that appeals to both road riding and mountain biking? I wouldn't want to feel excluded out of a new STR jersey if it had roadie specific things on it since I don't ride road. I'm sure others will probably feel the same way?

I thought the XC jerseys that were made could do both? I didn't know there was a "road specific" style I'd just like to see a new design. (Of course I like the Red one)

Day glow orange and lime green should get the attention of cars, and can be used to flag down helicopters

If I had a phobia I wouldn't have made the roadie hangout :). I have no issues with anyone that rides road.
They do work with both. It's this one:

Red happens to be my favorite color. For me, I love red and the aggressiveness it represents.

I actually totally agree, and I was a big proponent of the "new" jersey.

I've said from the beginning I want one for both! I guess maybe my hesitation comes from not wanting a second "earthen" toned jersey? I'd just like something that stands out a bit more. Don't get me wrong, I dig the current jersey (or I wouldn't have purchased one). I'd just like to see a different color for the third time around!! Maybe a different design?

If it turns out that there isn't enough interest yet for a third batch I'm willing to wait a few months. Course, then everyone will be wanting more l/s jerseys :D

I don't think this was ever meant to exclude anyone, so my apologies if anything I said contributed to that feeling.

The current XC road-mtb style I'm sure is great.

My vote is for the third batch to provide some more color!! And no... I don't want lime green, neon yellow, or hot pink. I don't think any of the primary colors (or even green for that matter) is going to scream ROADIE or take away from this being primarily a TRAILriders site.

Cool, thanks Allison. I'll talk with some of the LBS's and people that support STR and perhaps we can get the costs down also by placing a few logos on there. With adding those logos will also come a new design by necessity so we can toss some color into it.

Either that or the additional money can go to the server instead of being saved.

Put a little server clipart on the collar or something :D
