For the roadies on here. What do you guys train on? For those who race, what is your rig?

I'm currently on an 05 Fuji Team SL with Sram. I'm looking at buying a Cervelo R3 for next season.

Just curious what you guys ride on.

A P.O.S. Giant OCR Two. It's circa 2003, has SORA components and peeling paint from when I cleaned the chain with carb. cleaner. It's old and heavy, but it gets the job done.

I've got a few various rigs, each specific for certain conditions - at least that's what I tell the wife.

My primary ride is a 50th ann. Colnago - Record equipped. Fits like a glove, not the fastest machine out there, but I love it.

I'm on a circa 1991 Trek 2300 Pro that one of the shops I raced for gave to me. It has a Shimano 600 group and the frame is aluminum lugs bonded to carbon fiber tubing ... Downtube shifters and all. Probably has around 30,000 miles on it. :?:

I picked up a new 2007 Lemond Buenos Aires on the cheap. I had a set of custom wheels built for it so now it’s a fast, light, smooth and nice handling bike. Since everyone’s hate’n on Lemond the bike aren’t selling and Trek is dumping Lemond Cycles. Bargains are to be had if you don’t care about being seen riding one.

Lemond's new Tete de Course is a nice nice ride. A little rich for my blood though. I have an '05 Lemond Alp d'Huez, and I have to say I don't get much grief being seen on mine. It's just a tool. Although I spend a lot of time on the road, I'm a lot less critical of the road bike I ride. I'm kind of picky about my mountain bike though. And I do take grief about that...my '97 Trek 8500.

I would say I was riding a 928 Chorus BUUUUT I have not picked it up yet. It was supposed to be at the shop yesterday or today and ready by tonight so I am hoping [IMG]

Soon as I get my arse into shape (possibly before) I will do a few ITT's on the same bike unless I can convince the Mrs that it would be much better if I could use/have a D2 Crono for the racing

You might want to check out the Laguna Hills Performance.

They have a Red Crankset marked way down (I think it was a web return).

C-dale CADD 4, which makes it from about 1999 I believe. Admittedly it has been collecting dust lately. Would like to build my steel Basso from about 1993 back up and ride it, but not top priority right now.

It took some "convincing" to get the fiance on board with the Cervelo. I think I'll wait a bit before doing a Red build tho.

Good luck with the red build.

I have a Scott CR1, used for all around (training and riding a couple of crit thingies-not what you'd call racing). I LOVE my bike! Nice n stiff, but not too hard on long rides--just perfect.
