I have a bad feeling that I recognized the bike...

This was just posted over at geoladders:

"A downhiller attempted to launch a gulley near top of the world, went 15 feet in the air, landed on his front wheel and then his face. His feet came up behind him, and he lay motionless, not breathing. He finally came to after a minute or so. Broken helmet, chest protector, etc..reall bad. Called 911, and they came with medics, ambulance...even saw a helicopter overhead. The guys name was Mark."

Horrible news. It shows that even with a helmet and armor you have to be careful. Even then, accidents happen.

Mark, my thoughts are with you. I hope you are able to recover from this.
