Whiting Trail Work - I don't get it

    Just for fun, I'm gonna take a map image of Whiting and show where I would consider trails if I were king for a day :) Then you can all rip it to shreds :)

    Jim, by no means am I taking anything away from you or the other trial volunteers. Without you all there would probably be no trails, or trails in such poor condition that only the most crazed biker would want to ride them. I am still trying to figure a time to put my money where my mouth is, and go out and swing a pick with you. You looked pretty lean and fit however; I may not be able to keep up :)

    Thanks to everyone who contacted the Ranger. He emailed me and said he'd had a lot of positive visitor feedback on the trailwork on Cactus. That's the kind of thing that helps all of us riders. The more the Ranger sees our interest, and trusts the viability of our volunteer trailwork, the more we'll be allowed to tailor the trails to be MTB friendly.
