    ok so i just purchased some Hope Pro II's and going to purchase some rims(Mavic 819's) i think within the next couple of days. any suggestions on a good wheel builder in SoCal?

    yup we can do it we just need to know what lacing you want for spoke lengths or you can just have someone build it. my 4 cross fork was a pain today

    for sure dude, hubs should be here next week and rims the following week, and then I just gotta pick up spokes and nipples and then it is ready to be built. Yeah i saw your post in your thread, putting it back together tomorrow?

    hopefully my Gpa is machining some 25mm spacers for me so it should be 85mm when its done that thing was a pain to get apart, which bike ar the rims going on ?

    the jamis, i bought red hubs and probably going with red nipples, black spokes and black rims, getting rid of those POS deore hubs...hahaha

    If you're going to build up the 819s yourself, make sure you get the special tool from Mavic that screws in the nipple holders. I think they're usually like $10.

    I usually put a little loctite on them as well, since they seem to work themselves loose.
