What are you drinking?

alpine was definitely our favorite stop. followed by mother earth and stone. maybe it was all the hype, but i was not really impressed with society.

Getting ready for family trip. These two seem to be my favorites now.

Round 2..tad sharper than the Session Black..the Session is definitely lighter and easier to drink..interestingly the Sprocket is initially sweeter.

Up in Washington at the moment, and had an incredible double ipa last night. Sound Brewing is located up here in Poulsbo west of Seattle, and their Humulo Nimbus had the best tropical fruit character I have ever had in a DIPA. Great stuff, if you're ever up this way I'd highly recommend it.

I went to Naja's for the IPA Festival. This is a week long event. So many good ones to choose from, but you can only have so much..., unless you go everyday for a week

First one was Alpine's Hoppy Birthday. Couldn't resist so I already had a sip before taking the pic ;)

Next up was Blind Pig which is far more difficult to find on tap than Pliny the Elder which they also had, but I have 4 bottles in my fridge so I skipped it.

Then I had Figueroa Mountain's Lizard Tongue DIPA. Very good double indeed.

I finished with Victory's Dirt Wolf, also a DIPA. I've had it before in bottle, but it always seems better out of the tap.

There are several on the list that weren't tapped yet, but they just tapped 9 new IPA's according to their FB page.

Picked up a couple of six packs of Breckenridge Stout when I was in Angel Fire last weekend and had to bring some home with me.. good stuff. Gonna finish the last of it tonight with some BBQ ribs!
