For those of you who weren't there, and arent facebookers, I blew up my clavicle in bootleg yesterday. hit a jump, landed 50-50 on a big boulder thats blind from the lip. bike stopped, i slammed the ground. #-o big thanks to stinkyrider for taking care of me and cutting his weekend short to drive me home. I reaalllly appreciate it. not sure how long im out for. should be seeing the doctor/ortho tomorrow.
That sucks man. 5 weeks till the winter series. But hey, more time to focus on beer making. Hows that going?
Bryan, if you need any help or advice let me know, I am nearly an expect on this. LOL Based on my experience he will miss a lot of Winter Series. I know exactly how he feels since I was in the same situation just a year and maybe a week or two ago.
My plan is to come and watch/hang out for the races. prolly drink a lot of beer/hand it off to racers in need. the brewing is at least going well. porter is fantastic my winter ale is conditioning should be brewing another batch once my bones get set. IPA, about 10oz of delicious american hops. should be a monster. i need a kegging system though. ok
Good luck Bry... a friend of mine just went through this twice in one year. The hardest part for him was finding a comfortable position to sleep. He was feeling good after about 3 weeks and fully functional at about 5 weeks.
That sucks Bry!!! Heal up quick little buddy. Maybe in your down time you can come out to Fontucky and school us old guys on how to go fast.......:bang:
bummer! could've been worse. Heal up soon man! Now - did anyone get footage of the crash? was the bike ok?
OH no! Thats a bummer man. I hope you get better soon. and I guess im not so jealous I wasnt out in bootleg this weekend! If you need anything im not to far.
