Headed over to Waterworks / Las Flores on Sunday. For a place with such easy climbing, I was surprised how many eBikes ride there. Damn things are like a virus.
Anyway, I was still a bit tired from Saturday's ride, so wanted something easy. Headed up to Las Flores Ridge and over to Backdraft which is a pretty fun enduro type trail, mostly downhill but with some moments of "better be in the right gear" for the sudden ups. The end of that transitions nicely into Spitfire, so did that too.
Back up Escalator and then hit Waterworks for two consecutive runs. Too many people both times, but they were nice enough to move over for me. After that all the way over to Machete, which I really enjoy. Nice cross country/enduro type trail through the woods.
I was starting to feel my legs, but decided on one last run down Rage. I think Rage is so named because of the two hills right at the start, LOL. It's fun after that anyway.
When I got back to the Water District, I heard a preacher man, and sure enough they have some sort of "Church of the Water" or some such going on there Sundays. OK.
Good times.
