I would be willing to maintain a waiting list for STR members and friends. As someone suggested I created a Google Docs spreadsheet.

    http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=t5rlb4DhOj6COiOWoDBvWSQ&output=html

We could make it self-moderated, but I don't have any problem keeping it updated regularly. Mods, if I should create a separate thread advertising this, let me know. Or if this is out of bounds, let me know that, too.

PM me with your information (STR screename and how you'd like to be contacted at a minimum) and I'll add you to the list.

Ditto, I'm in for the CC. Funny to see people logging in around 2 AM'ish to register. Why 2 AM? Did you just roll in from the bar? ;)

Unless you started your biking commute to work at 12:15am I wouldn't have mattered...

Wow, people weren't kidding about the popularity of VQ/CC. Way fast sell-out. Luckily, CC here I come!

As of this point I'm the only one with access to the list. Do we want to make it so everyone can edit it? Or would it be easier/safer with just one person moderating? I have no problems either way.

I would say keep the editing to yourself. Otherwise things can go south real quick. Thanks for volunteering, very nice of you. I sent you a PM with my info.

I am new to Google Docs, I have a Gmail account and can view the document. What does it take to be able to edit the document. Is someone squatting on the site and blocking editing?

Jeff - I would go ahead and create a new thread in the Racing and Training forum. Before you spend too much time on this though, I'd verify with WS that they are even willing to accomodate this.

Thanks, I'll do that. I was thinking this would be more for STR members who had to give up a spot and wanted to keep it in the STR family. But I will contact WS as well and see if they'd honor a spot on the list when someone cancels officially.

    Taken from the WS website.

We will allow the transfer of your spot in the event if you are unable to participate due to injury or other issues. There will be a $25.00 transfer charge payable to "The UCLA Foundation," to support Operation Mend or to the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, the two charities our Traverse and Toad Festival Events support. No Transfers will be allowed after March 6th.
