Why???? I am looking forward to the 2000 threads about which tires to run? what should I eat? if I ride Fuly Loop once a week for training, will I be OK? where is the start? where is the finish? I who wants to sell me there spot? Who wants to buy my spot? Should I run streamers from my bars?

Was going to do CC again, but someone talked me into signing up for VQ tonight instead. I know that it is going to be real easy to click that button, but I will regret it come in March when I do a practice hike up Horsethief :(

I like this one "I road bike a lot so am wondering how technical is Motorway/HJ and Trabucco and should I ride them before the race or is Whiting a good comparison?"

    Rubber ones. Air helps.
Food. Bark, dirt, rocks will not get you through either one.
If your definition of the loop includes climbing Coal Canyon, then yes.
    At the beginning.
    At the end.
I will. I can't guarantee delivery though. You also won't be on the official startlist. But you're welcome to give me your money.
Everybody who forgets to click on the "I don't want the DVD button"
Absolutely. Must be multicolored or multi-reflective. Also must have the dice valve stem caps and the full deck of playing cards to run in the spokes. Bonus points for the streamer behind the helmet with the integrated whistle.

I think that's everything everyone needs to know about VQ/CC.

It looks like Active has an Android app. I'm away from a computer tonight, but going to try signing up with the app. Since they're not allowing transfers anymore, shouldn't fill up *too* quickly...

    Too Funny
Did you see how fast it sold out last year with no transfers? I think there were almost 70 people that didn't start the races out of 350.

NO, i will not Poach. I was a super Rookie at the time !!

Got it, good luck to you. I will be more then happy to train with you on the entire CC or VQ loop. However, no funds for me till a few more weeks. Its gonna hurt not to participate !

When i saw this thread, it triggered and i knew my name would come up, so i made the first move and offered to help =)

    Thanks J.

    Mario

One more thing, NO POACHING THIS EVENT =/

So we heard, I remember Gene addressing this topic. If i remember right, It would be a hassle to register 70plus riders at 4am. Time consuming, more volunteers etc. etc.

How fast did it sell out ?
