Lance doped, he just didnt inhale. Relax. All these peole they got lance the stuff, or they "partied" with him... so no we are taking testimony from junkies as being more reliable than a man who overcame camcer, raised millions for camcer research. Amd he also managed to win a couple of bike races in 7 years. Thats great. His neighbors started to talk he should quit foolin around with that bike ishto till he had his own g6.

So yes lets listen to dirty jealous junkies, im sure they are sober now right. Can someone find a lawyer who has enough money he lawyers for fun now to sue usada and put those fockers on some sort of accountability scheme with all of us.

Im looking for pr work for famous peeps, if hired id even change misspelled words, proofread amd attempt to not use 73 word semtences. Possibly id work and not have the tv on or type with my phone...almost as funny as the question do you think michale phelps doped? Fool got caught with multiple phones smoking greens, usada gives 6mos and thats it...bc if you make money off your body you would dope to dumb/slow it down but not to male it fast...good call usada. Cheers.

Yup - Lance's case is already thrown out. That was quicker than a doper riding a time trial!

I smoked a bowl with Lance and he shared a syringe of EPO with me. True story!

I have to say I' m a little pissed about this being dismissed so quickly. Yeah, yeah I get the whole "he did it for the publicity" thing. Probably right. However, one thing the motion does bring up is the entire issue of any athlete's constitutional right to due process. Seems that because all the activities of the USADA do not flow through the formal legal and justice system, some of the legal protections afforded to us by the US Constitution are not protecting athletes from the USADA. Seems like "Innocent until proven guilty" should actually read "innocent until proven guilty except if the USADA is accusing you". At what stage in this process does the athlete get to provide its own witnesses, question it's accusers, and provide its own evidence and facts? Maybe I just don't understand the process well and there is a provision for this type of defense.

In any case, the Lance case was presented to our legal system and was considered by a Grand Jury. The Department of Justice's Prosecutor decided not to pursue charges. It's still a mystery why. However, the fact is that this had its run through our legal system and got nowhere. Should have just been dropped after that.

Cyclists have been doping in many fashions for almost as long as the sport has existed.

Lets just open the floodgates and let 'er rip.
    Let the freakiest folk win!!

He did get somewhat punished, albeit slight, by not being allowed to race IM Nice.

My recollection was that the Department of Justice was looking for evidence of criminal wrongdoing and that doping in sports was not criminal per se, only the trafficking, conspiracy, etc. They probably couldn't prove that so they handed over their evidence to USADA who persecutes doping violations, etc.

It's always been annoying to me when athletes complain about the rules after they're caught or are on trial. If you don't like the rules of the game, then don't line up at the start line...

I think making Lance a scapegoat only does more harm to cycling. He was always going to live with an asterisk over his head anyway. Singling him out because he was the most successful is unfair to a certain extent. Sure, he was part of the problem but he didn't invent doping and wasn't the last to dope. Doping or not, he was and always will be one of the greatest of all time just like Merckxx and others who doped before him.

Lance needs to explaine the 460k payment to Ferrari, the donation to the swiss lab after the failed test and the 7 positives for EPO.500 tests without a posative sounds like baught and paid for propaganda. This should provide a close look into the last 14 years of Americas finest.

Ashenden recently had and interview published on Velonews about this same subject. It did not have all the info that the above link has.

    100% Guilty.
