Unchained DVD

[Jordansrealm]

Picked up this DVD tonight because im a big time dvd/movie whore and I heard it was pretty good. Definitely worth the $20. Mostly freeride stuff and downhill with some singletrack mixed in. The special features dvd has a great long section on the Crankworx event in Whistler and many others. Well over an hour worth of footage with the extras and the soundtrack is kickass!

It's a cool vid for sure... but personally I like NWD5 better, which I thought had a better soundtrack. If you haven't yet, check out The Collective another great DVD to pick :bang:

[Innes]

I prefer videos that are a little more tame. It's seems that all of the freeride videos are the same thing over and over again. Check out The Off Road to Athens. It's pretty cool.

Netflix is great for mtb biking dvd's. That's how my collection grew. My 2 favorites are definitely the Collective videos, both The Collective and Roam. I think I like Roam better. They're dvd's you can pop in and just play in the background if your buddies are over or if you want to get inspired for a ride. The music and videography (is that a word?) is fantastic.

Think the word you're looking for is cinematography. 8)

Technically speaking, it's cinematography if it's shot on film and videography if it's shot on video. Just trying to be of service.
