2006 or 2007? redline conquest pro.
new bar tape, tires, bars, entirely new drivetrain, including bontrager Race X Lite GXP cranks. got the bike, bottles, cages, a spare tube, and patch kit for a 219.00. wanted an affordable way to get into road riding, and i got it.

Where the hell did you get all that for $220??? I've been looking for a bike like that (or anything inexpensive) to convert into a fixed gear.

    Lucky you.

Wow, what a steal! But Nam, if it makes you feel any better, the Conquest is a 'Cross bike, so he could take it in the dirt if he so desired. Good for you Ryan!

hey nam, you cant do that! get one though. seriously. i rode it 18 miles this morning and it was a blastee. my LBS was selling it for a customer. i went by the shop tuesday between classes and saw it hanging up for 350.00. i left my number with the shop and told my friend to ask how low the seller would go (not that 350.00 was high), i got a call back and spoke with the seller, talked him a bit lower, then the price was right. hey S54M, it was a single speed not too long ago, thus the entirely new drive train. stoaked.

That is a great first bike. If you want to ride on the weekend, let me know and I can give you the details of some of our rides. I watched you race here in Fontana and you handle that really well but most our rides are on the longer side. Somewheres in the 50 miles plus range, but when we do a shorter one of less mileage, you should jump on in. Were not real fast, but we do put the miles in.

Nam's the trouble maker. There's a sign on the front door of the Fontana Police Dept door saying "No Nams permitted in Fontana, shoot to kill"

You know, if I didn't know better, I'd think you were suggesting maybe I shouldn't be wearing lycra 'cause I'm fat. Thanks, Nam. Now, stop looking at my body.
