    How much asphalt is involved in this ride?

    very little....it is mostly rolling fireroad.

    the only pavement sections i can think about are when you ride along/cross skyline dr/turnbull cyn rd, cross colima and cross hacienda.

    if you want singletrack, then you can always do some "extra credit" before or after the turkey ride by hitting cow trail or the 7th st trail.

    Awesome guys, looks to be a good day, as far as the weather goes! rode the trail earlier today, perfect conditions..

    This was a great ride eventhough some of the fire road were a bit muddy. My computer indicated about 22miles but that includes some unplanned routes. The guys from LA Habra Cyclery pretty much lead the way. This should be a montly ride, I think its a great fun workout.

    I'll be there. Just don't know if I will be that fast, but who cares. As long I ride that's what count.

    ill be there on time this year! me and by buddys missed it by half an hour last year, i am really looking foward to this years turkey trot thanks for posting was wondering if anybody was going to post this ride? somehow the loop doesnt sound fun, not on thanksgiving day!

    yea guys, looks like some rain, lets hope not!! definitely a fun loop... trails will be nice, if we get no more rain from here on out..
