i'm in the Vail/Tucson area, and I'm sick of Fantasy Island. anybody have any good ideas for rides? i've got my eyes on Milagrosa (mt. lemmon), Aspen Draw (mt. lemmon) and Chiva (jeep fire-roads). Anybody done these?

Milagrosa was one of the rides we did on the Spring Fling. It's a shuttle but there's still plenty of climbing and hike-a-bike. It's a pretty technical ride with tons of cactus. If you're looking for an XC ride you may want to keep looking.

my friend talked me out of it. one of these day i'll do it, but i've only been riding a month ... i'm doing Chiva this morning, instead. but thanks. i wasn't going to shuttle it. there's a climb that's not too bad up mt. lemmon highway (5.5 miles). fortunately, milagrosa is not that far up the mountain. i don't wanna deal with altitude, too, when i do the trail later this year.
