The trails got a little wider tonight

I was coming down and my thoughts were drifting. I came to the place where you need to off camber bunny hop across the rill in the center of the trail. I was going fast ~35 and so by the time to do the move the correct place had passed. I saw a rock and used it for lift, it was only about 2 feet farther down the trail. I landed straight instead of off camber and "look out!" I entered the sage scrub going fast. I got it stopped in about 45 feet in but by then I was a good 10 yards off the trail. Look out bushes! Mad man on the loose.
