    That's a bummer. Johnny was a good guy.
    Too bad for the locals, as there's no close bike shops that I'm aware of.

    That really sucks. He was always genuinely appreciative when I brought my bikes in for service. Super nice guy, great bike tech. I was afraid this day would come.

    Thats a bummer though. Never made it to that shop :(

    John is still servicing bikes as far as I know... he is just doing it out of his home. I have had him do work for me twice since he closed. My Brother in law, my sister, and a good friend have all had work performed by him as well.

    I'll shoot him a call and see if he is still taking on work. If so I will post his contact info.

    Johnny is probably one of the coolest guys out there. my friend Mike used to work with him years ago, and I have followed Johnny from the shop he worked at, to pedalsmith. sad to see that he is no longer in business in a shop setting, but i will pm you to get his number.
