I figure we could benefit from having an official Snow Summit thread to keep all the information together.

I'm double posting because Snow Summit built two jumps last week on Westridge. They are right after the ten pack of bmx rollers. The two tables are nice. They are not real big but plenty of fun. The berm on the last jump comes quick so watch out.

Photo stolen from Snow Summit! It's not me!

Also the Turtle Trail they built is fun! It's a split off of Miracle Mile/Party Wave right after the right handed turning bridge drop onto pavers. Stay right on the split. The short trail is high speed smooth bermed out action. It's easy but fun! The berms are nice and steep!

At 3:25 you can see the split onto Turtle Trail (thanks for the video whoever it belongs to): http://www.pinkbike.com/video/359551/

Great photo and that looks fun. If that's you, I think you misrepresented yourself in another post about your abilities. :bang:

Well, now that I look at it you said "Miracle Mile is tough at my level on a trail bike." I assumed you meant that your level was fairly low. Incorrect assumption. I'll bet Miracle mile is tough at your level on a trailbike! Given that your Avatar is a DH bike and you build jumps, I should have known.

Hmmm. setting up the westridge as a little more pedally version of crank it up maybe? That would be sweet!!

I wish that was me in the photo. I'd like to think I'm fast and good at jumping... but I'm not. Haha.... But I still have a blast. :-)

I saw that pic on the summit fb page earlier, and just wondered HOW THE HELL is that guy gonna get down in time to hit that berm? Awesome pic! I guess he stuck it.:bang:

Great clip.. looks like they cleaned up that tricky little section in the trees at :29 and I am happy for that. That section offered me a very nice OTB last year and an even more memorable deep purple chest bruise :)

Nope, that section is still the same. The guy in the video makes it look easy. http://www.pinkbike.com/video/359551/

Damn.. I was hoping it was at least slightly better.. those guys made it look way to smooth.. false advertising :)

Greg we will be up there this Sunday.. also going to have one of Ryan's buddies up there who he races with at Fontana.. would love to see you and Vincent if you're planning to head up.. should be a fun group outing

"After just one weekend of being open we are almost Sold Out of our Anytime Bike Park Season Passes. So come and get yours this weekend while you still can!" - Snow Summit via Facebook

Since they were snowed out last weekend I am pretty sure they still have some passes left. If you want a season pass, it is probably wise to buy one online as soon as possible.

Oh yea, watch out for trouble...

Turtle trail was there last year, it just wasn't advertised as a separate or easy trail

EDIT: it looks like they extended that bottom section as a different trail

Turtle trail is near the trail they had last year but it is way different. I'd say 95% or more is different. The berms are bigger and steeper. The turns are nice and long compared to the sharp turns of last year. It's a lot faster except the last two turns which are all the way over by the zip line. It's a fun section.

I like that Turtle trail doesn't merge with Miracle Mile like last year. It was difficult trying merge with both trails coming in hot.

Oh yea, watch out for trouble...

Sat i'll be on my DH and if i get my fork sorted out Sun on my 9er

Those guys in the video are really hauling. If most people ride like that there, I'll probably end up becoming a human speed bump.
