....in the spirit of peer pressure (targeted at me lately) just wanted to share what i peer pressured 2 of my friends into getting in the past 2 weeks.

the only thing i like more than spending my money on bikes is spending other people's money :D so much less painful.

My friend Doug's (pacman from mtbr) new frame he just got from Chad. The dude is gonna be an even sicker rider on this bad boy.

In my opinion, the friggin ULTIMATE XC weapon.....5.7 lbs in a size medium for a 29er frame rocks.

And here is a bike that was shipped to my house on Friday and I put together tonight. My friend from the UK is coming to the US for a few days next week....I convinced him to buy a bike from Chad as buying most bikes like this in the UK would be easily 2 thousand more. He is stoked....has only seen a single picture. Bike will be in my office tomorrow waiting for him :)

Sweet bikes.

I am a little surprized to see Doug buy a geared bike.
we discussed it.....he wants to do more endurance racing and not get so beat up. i think he got the best bike for that job.

this frame barely weighs more than his SIR frame which is pretty cool I think

fo - just curious, what made the call on the revelation? that's what I am running. personally satisfied with it (100-130 seems to match well for my frame) but not overwhelmed with performance (and experiencing some "stiction"). assume performance partially my lack of dialing it in correctly but if i had to do over may make diff call (although not sure as to what as have not done research with no funds to do so). just wondering your thought on fork
