Tapia conditions?

Hello folks, I haven't been on here in a long time, so hello.
I was thinking of revisiting the Tapia Cyn area (near Castaic) but was wondering what scoop was. Do you still have to use Charlie cyn to enter, etc? Thanks, all

I read that it fell victim to a fire about a week ago. Not sure how it was impacted.

Quite a bit of it burned and is currently closed. Small portions are still accessible, but it is currently not worth driving to get to it. Locals may still ride some of it just because it is nearby. The current closure is in effect until 12/31/18. They may extend it, but for now, that is what is in effect at this time.
