Sunday's Epic 05-14

NO BEGINNERS

The ride will start at the STT trailhead where we'll take the road to Harding. At 4 corners we'll continue to Motorway, and then we'll climb up Maple Springs back to 4 corners. We'll continue on Main Divide to Joplin and out STT to our cars.

39 miles with 8200 ft. of climbing. Make sure you have enough water and food

Did they skip the annual closure of Maple Springs? The Cleveland NF site has it listed as closed, but who knows how often it's updated?

Might want to contact the Trabuco Ranger District ((951) 736-1811) before heading out, Steve--might affect your route.

Be sure to post if it's open, a Motorway run sounds pretty good about now.

I rode MS-Motorway today. Gate was wide open and a few trucks were blasting by me. BTW if your up there look for the ranger sign, i tagged a STR sticker on it:wave:

I may have to take Sunday off, to please the mother... #-o

I have the weekend off, which never happens, and I want to take full advantage of it.

I'm taking my mom out for dinner so I have the moning/afternoon open.
