:bang:Just when everyone thought Gee had commanding lead and the title all but sealed hafjell happened. It all comes down to the final WC race to see who the overall champion is for the year! Only 17 points seperate Stevie and Gee.

Seasons was the movie that made me want a DH bike, the Stevie Segment especially (OK, and the Matt Hunter Rio Escondido section). Those trails looked soooo fun. And I loved the Wintersleep mood with the drizzly gray skies. Fun to re-visit it now that he's close to earning the #1 in the World (Cup) label.

Gee fell victim to the chainsaw!! Unbelievable run from stevie to establish mustache dominance over beards everywhere.

 

What a frikkin extravaganza! Woooooo hoooooo! I suddenly started getting anxious for the last 5 riders. They were going so fast. That run by Bruni was amazing.

 

Watching that made my hands sweat. Awesome!

 

Steevie is cool as ice. He rode like the pressure wasn't even on. I thought Gee's run looked tight like he wasn't letting it go. Congrats to making your dreams come true Steevie!

Un-friggin believable! Most of us have no idea how hard it is to perform at your very best when the pressure is on - and Stevie just killed it. Such a great run, and such a great story. Wow!

That dismount was a thing of beauty, eh? Sorta like dropping the mic... 'nuff said.

 

He was barely a blip on the radar screen this season and did not compete in the last two races. Such a disappointment to go from phenom blowing away the field by 5 seconds every race to this dismal season. I hope he finds his form again. He was often compared to Sam Hill, and I am afraid he still might be...
