Sprained midfoot slow healing

    I crashed at Southridge a month ago and the doctor said I sprained my midfoot (arch), nothing is broken according to the X-rays. I'm not really sure what happened when I crashed but I got up quick and my foot said no which ended my race. It has now been over a month and I can only put about 70% of my weight on the ball of the foot and about 50% of my weight on my big toe when I walk. It seems like it is taking forever.

    Has anyone had this injury and what are some good remedies to improve recovery?

    Often times tissue injuries are worse than broken bones.....they often take longer to heal.
