Hey guys,

I got the ok from my wife...(don't laugh [-X ) to start racing next year in the 06. I wanted to enter the XC race over at Southridge. Though never actually been to Southridge nor know where it is, can you guys give me some info on what to expect at a race.
I could also use some training tips. Please keep in mind that I am a busy guy with 3 kids and a wife. So my training is some what limited.

Thanks,

RL

The races are really fun and a lot of people are out there just to have some fun. The course is around 8 miles and has 3 hills which get to me all the time. There's a mix of ST and fireroad thoughout the course. Also Southridge stays in good condition after the rains.

Ill be out there tomorrow pre-riding the course and also on Sunday racing it. What time are you heading out there Epic_Mtn_Biker tomorrow? BTW which class is your god son racing?

i'll be there about 8:30
my godson is 9 y/o, beginner ofcourse, he's a little kid that loves to mountain bike!!

Oh alright, Ill be riding the course birght and early 6 am.

Ill be racing beginner class (17-18), so ill be sure to look out for you cheering on your god son.

That was a fun ride today. Lots of wet spots on the course and ruts. They added a new section to it which was a bit tacky. Just hope the weather will be as nice as it is today.
