    Got smoked by Tony G and the six (6) other guys ahead of me. My strength is consistency and being able to stamp out runs like a robot. If I can get to that point, then it's just a matter of methodically shaving off time. I simply could not get this course dialed though. Every run was different with exception to the first 400 yards. I knew this would be a problem, especially since that weird hump deal out of that tight left in the technical rocks section was a 30/70 for me in favor of failure. After bobbling twice on that hump I lost composure and couldn't really get clipped in and pull it together. I am sure this was the case for a lot of others. I am annoyed by my performance, but I guess that doesn't really help. We'll see what happens next time out.

    For those that took pictures, nice work. They just keep getting better and better.

    Congratulations to those that made the podium.

    I wasn't official or anything, but I did shoot the first lap of the XC, and shot pics of the DH as I was hiking up for my run. Photos are at the http://otbmbc.smugmug.com site, 2010-Photos, racing folder. There's a few good ones, my little S90 does a pretty good job for a P&S, though I do need to update to a camera with a faster response (DSLR or Micro 4/3 for portability). Lots of random shots.

    I had a great time, and think that even if I didn't go and race it would have been fun just to hang out and enjoy the scene.
