Yep. They use your top four races so if you missed a race, DNF or just had a shitty run it wont count towards your overall.

I just maybe'd. I had a good time at #4.

 

I am super bummed right now. I have made the decision to not attend this race. I have a good shot at 2nd in the points for 4x, slight chance at 1st. So this was by far not easy to do. But, my daughters opening day in softball is this sat. There are many opening day events, the Mayer will be there, its picture day (cant miss that as my daughter will be crushed and some of the other girls will not be too happy either as I am one of the coaches) and it is a double header for our team that day. If it was a regular game day then I would be in Fontana tearing' it up. But alas, the little monkey comes first. I will see you all for the State series starting with the national on the 27th.

 

And I am sure the monkey will appreciate it!!! See you on the 27th!!!

 

Sorry to hear that you won't be there Ian, but yeah, yer daughter comes first, I know what that's like. It won't be the same without you there, guess it's just me & Tommy now......in the points that is. See ya at the next one then, and have fun with yer daughter!

Thanks everybody....wish you understood how bad I want to race this race!!! It is really killing me. But her disappointment would definitely kill me. Its ok I got my feet wet in Fontana (both literally and figuratively) over the last few races and will be there for all of the State Series!!!! racing 4X!!! on a new bike. And spectating DH....at least until I can get a good DH bike!!!! then its ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!!!!

 

This ones gonna be a close call for me (my parents don't want to pay the entry fee) but if i make it or not i will be there on the 27th even if i have to pay for it myself (good thing i get lunch money:lol

 

I'd be mighty grateful for a ride to the next Fontana cross country race on Saturday, March 6th. I live in Foothill Ranch and can meet you wherever you'd like that's not more than 20 miles away and I'll chip in for gas.

I am not going to make it on Saturday so I am heading on down tomorrow to get some practice in.

 

We will be there around 11:30am.
